Reaching your 2010 Goals…(with a little help from a webisode?)

When it comes to New Years resolutions, I bet if you made a few, one of them is about health and fitness. Who are we kidding, it’s usually about losing some weight. Gyms get a surge of new members, people swear off of sugar, alcohol, whatever…it usually lasts for a few days, a few weeks, maybe longer if you’re really disciplined.
Us Weekly (which I never buy but a friend gave it to me- I swear!) has a ”2010 Diets That Work’ edition on stands this week, which I actually found really interesting. There were a lot of articles on celebs and their weightloss and for once, the celebs and the magazine were truthful about how much work it takes to lose weight (just wish the articles and posts were online). Sure there are a lot of actors who are naturally skinny and photogenic but if you’re not genetically blessed with that makeup, or if your metabolism starts finally slowing down, you have to work as hard as anyone else, celeb or not, to lose the weight you want. So yay! Celebs are just like us!!
Sorry, just had to spit that annoying tagline out. In the Us Weekly they highlighted some delivery and diet plans that different celebs use. One of them seemed interesting to me, both as a cleanse and as a recharging of my system. It’s called the BluePrint Cleanse. Check it out (though it’s so expensive!?!) Since I’m trying to stay away from alcohol and any bread or starches for another 5 days, the idea of just having really healthy juices seems really appealing.
There was also an article on how many celebs Tracy Anderson trains and how she has her own fitness webisodes on her site. Merging new media with fitness! That got me excited! I love the type of workouts I hear Tracy puts her clients through- all dance and pilates based but they sound friggin’ hard!
Any other trainers or online fitness webisodes you have found?
